REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPANTS
1. All triallists including guns to wear hi-vis head or vest gear of at least 15 square cms. It must be visible from all directions.
2. At the trial site all participants will be under the control of the appointed steward and judges.
3. All dogs to be on leads during the trial until called up to compete.
4. All competitors may not enter the trial property until they sign the form that acknowledges they are competing at their own risk.
5. Handlers not up with the judges competing, and spectators, are to be behind the guns and out of gunshot range. No handler is to come forward until called up by the judge/s.
6. A first aid kit is to be made available by the club.
7. All guns who will be shooting for the trial, will be given a mandatory safety talk by the judges or steward before the trial.
8. All hazards are to be identified and notified to all participants prior to the start of the trial.These include but are not limited to:a) Roughly formed tracks may pose a danger to vehicular trafficb) Electrified Fencesc) Steep terrain with streams and river banksd) Livestock
9. Once the trial has commenced no-one is to leave the trial without the permission of the steward or judge/s. 10. All participants are to keep their dogs off any farmland until their dosing certificate is sighted by the trials secretary. This includes pet dogs. (Please refer to information page on worming your dogs) INDEMNITYWe the undersigned have read and accepted this advice. I acknowledge I have been adequately briefed on the safety issues and hazards associated with entering this property for the activities to be undertaken. I thereby indemnify the land/property owner, their associates and the (club name) from any liability arising out of an accident caused or incurred by me in any way whatsoever whilst a participant or spectator. I accept that the land/property owner, their associates and the (club name) will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever suffered by me or to my property however caused. Everyone participating in the trial, including spectators, will sign an acknowledgement of the above indemnity.
